Day 7: Mt Titlis (Part 2)

After a short ride, we arrived at the foot of Mt Titlis.
We were excited to see snow covering the mountain from mid-point onwards
as we have never experience snowfall before!

All geared up !!

Boarding the cable car to begin our ascend up Mt Titlis.

Carol and her mum!
Awesome friends that we have met in our tour.
And we always stick to each other throughout =p

This is so cool !!!
So excited to go out to experience the winter season!!!

Hohoho, not for the faint hearted.
This was quite steep.

Went outdoor for a few minutes to expereince the cold.
The wind was very strong and it was very very cold but shiok!!!!

Upon reaching the summit, we decided to have our lunch before going out to the open area to explore. That's Rosemary and her mum n the front row. The 6 of us hang around together most of the time for the whole trip.

Our simple lunch.
A Pizza, hot creamy mushroom soup and the tasty beef cubes to share between gal and I.

Skiing equipments.
Nope, we did not try skiing.=)

Yes, the wind was very very strong! We felt as though we were going to be blown away by the strong wind. Not sure what's the outdoor temperature, but it should be well below 0 degrees. It was quite painful too withthe wind and snow blewing against our face. Perhaps it was very dry?

The gals lying down on the soft, icy snow =p

We tried to explore the area beyond the banner, but forced to turn back after a few meters. As the wind was strong and the snowfall was quite heavy, visibility was bad. Everywhere was white and you could barely see things beyond 5 meters.

Last shot out in the snow before retreating indoor.

It's strange, but it's shiok to eat an ice-cream in cold countries as well.
Movenpick ice-cream rocks and it's cheap!

We began to descend to the foot of the mountain.
How I wish we can spend more time out in the snow.

Juz love these pine trees overed with snow....

This looked so Christmas!!

Snow was slowly disappearing on our descend.
Time to head back to Interlaken for dinner,  Swiss Fondue dinner!!
