Gal's bro bday !!

A rush day for us today! After the zoo trip, both of us hurried down to Clarke Quay's Jumbo Seafood to celebrate gal's bro birthday. Initially all of us wanted to try the Jpot Steamboat at Vivo, but gal's father prefer Jumbo Seafood.

However, there were no regrets, almost every dish served was nice !! Slurp Slurp !!!

The main dish, Chili Crab !!! Though it's famous for Black Pepper Crab, Chili Crab is not bad either !! It goes well with the man tou !! Some may say Melben Seafood's crabs are one of the nicest, wait till you try Jumbo's !!

We are all getting dressed up and ready for some crabby actions !! Hence no photos of other food ! =p For those who have yet been to Jumbo before, maybe you should give it a try one of these days, juz once ! (^_-)

Gotta hurried back home after the dinner to send my parents to the airport. They are going overseas again ! YES, AGAIN !! Envy si mi, and this time to Japan. Maybe i should seriously give it a tot on taking over my dad's biz.

Btw, the birthday boy is the one on the top left hand corner with my gal ! =p

Zoo Zoo !! Here we come ! (Part 2)

and finally we have reached the Kangaroos' lodge on time for the feeding section !! This seems to be the most popular feeding session as lots of people were queuing for it. And we r no. 8!

Hmm.... Now then I know Kangaroo means "I don't understand" =p Anyway, the kangaroos are very cute !!! Never imagine we can be so up close with the kangaroos!! Those Caucasians in the photos blend well with the kangaroos, for a moment, this looks quite like Australia! =p

We were assigned to a tree log with 2 cute junior kangaroos and given their feed!

Well, this is actually our second bowl. As the first set of photos were all over exposed, we tried to retake the photos with the roos but the food was finished. Seeing this, the kind zoo keeper gave us another bowl of feed and offered to help us to retake the photos !! Thanks to him, we have these beautiful photos with the kangaroos !!!

The elephants, the largest mammal on land!! We spotted an elephant dancing to the background music at the amphitheater nearby. Yeah, it actually danced and shake to the beats of the music!! If only i can videoed it down!

Wow wow wow !!! Elephants spend 3/4 of their life eating!!
and no wonder the elephants dung are always so huge !

Zoo Zoo !! Here we come ! (Part 1)

Zoo Zoo, Here we come !!! Woke up late today due to the late nite yesterday. Suppose to have lunch together but in the end bought bread to eat on our way to the zoo. It was quite rush for us and we hoped to catch the performance that we wanna watch.

And we were juz in time for the Splash Splash performance by the marine animals! The good seats were taken, gotta try to squeeze and tip-toe to watch the performance. The performance was quite short, around 20 mins or so

Juz outside the amphitheater was the orangutans and chimpanzees enclosure. Spotted this orangutan with a gunny sack over his body. It kept adjusting the gunny sack to prevent it from falling off its body. Maybe the weather was too hot and it found a way to keep itself cool?

The same orangutan showing off the gunny sack to the others. He later regretted it as it attracted the attention of some orangutans and they began chasing him for the sack. They juz look like small kids !

This is the beautiful yet shy horse, Belle !!

Though it's a she, she doesn't seem to like me to stroke her, sadz.... =( i tot the chinese horoscope says doggies have good affinity with rabbits and horses? =p

But it states that this horse always bully Belle ! Big bully !!

These miniature horses look ZiBi !! All of them were standing at a corner of the stable staring blankly in the air. The bottom horse looked to have a major surgery not long ago. Looks painful.

Gal looked quite shock when the carrot in her hand was gone in a flash!! We were surprise that giraffe, a tall animal, would actually like carrot which is found on ground level.

Halloween @ Clarke Quay

After our dinner, we decided to go down to Clarke Quay as there was a Halloween Event. Walking past The Central towards the bridge, we heard loud percussion music and a huge crowd was gathering there.

their music spiced up the nite ! lots of people seen dancing to the beats ....

The person in this costume must be very hot and tired ! The costume was thick and fully covered from head to toe, but it was one of the coolest around. Thumbs up for the effort !

Nice concert with many nice songs on that nite, and the crowd was asking for more.
