Citi Crabbing Day

Our dinner date with Rosalyn before she leaves Citi. The kiddos wanted to eat crabs, hence we chose Melben Seafood for our dinner.

Some Candid shot in the office. Junyi was taunting his new team mate, Ah Boon, showing that he's no push-over too! =p

The "Advance  Party" ! They left office early and were able to queue and order the food while the rest made the way to the venue.

Belated Bday Celebration for gal

A belated birthday celebration for gal at TWG Tea Company as gal is always a fan of high tea sessions

A pot of tea each, with TWG Tea Jelly and whipped cream

Gal with her 3-tier pastry, 3 macaroons, a slice of cake, and 2 scones

Arrival of the Household Applicances !!

A pretty packed day on Gal's birthday. The delivery of TVs, washing machine and fridge is today, and we had a gown fitting too in the evening.

Our TVs have arrived, but the installation of the TVs is next Sat, boo!
Gal seems to be dwarfed by the size of the TVs =p

Front load washing is our choice, A Bosch washing machine! And it comes with a free Bosch vaccum cleaner, more savings for us!

A front load washing machine may be more expensive, but it uses water more efficiently, and does not spoil delicate clothings. In general, it seems to be better than the top load washing machine.

One problem for owners like me for choosing the front load washing machine is this water point. All tap head in new housings look like this, hence making it unsuitable for front load washing machine. Gotta purchase a "converter" piping in order to connect it to the washing machine.

Our Fisher and Payel Fridge.
Like the old school look, and it is a pretty reliable brand.
And it's 4 ticks too! =p

BDay Celebration with Poly friends

Dinner Treat at Marutama Ramen, my favorite Ramen Restaurant at Clarke Quay before we went to Coffee Club for some cakes and drinks. Thanks for the celebration! =)

It's my Birthday !

Seems like Groupon had pretty good deals recently. Gal spotted this great deal and purchased the coupons, and here we were celebrating my birthday at Casa Tartufo, which is located at Tanglin Mall.

Casa Tartufo is an Italian Restaurant, which literally translate into "House of Truffles". So one can easily guess that the restaurant specialises in dishes with some element of truffle in it.

cosy corner .....

My bday present from gal
A crumpler camera bag for the europe trip! =)

Gal's Linguine Aglio Olio with Prawns.
The flavor is nice and it's not too oily or bland.

My Sunny-side up, Mushroom & Truffles sauce. It was yummi-lious! The bread couton was nicely toasted and crispy while the mushroom and the eggs blend well with the truffle sauce! However, at $20, it seems quite overpriced for 2 eggs, 2 bread and a small portion of mushroom. Perhaps the truffle attribute to the high cost.

On top of the 2 main course above, we ordered the Beer buttered Dory fillet, aka fish and chips, to share as it is recommend by the owner of the restaurant. Another great dish, especially the thinly sliced, lightly salted potato chips. The dory fillet was not too oily too and the tar tar sauce accompany it was excellent too.

This is definitely one of the better Italian Restaurant that we have tried, not to mention Garibaldi and my favorite OSO Ristorante!
