Day 5: Venice (Part 1)

Our breakfast for the 5th day, with a slight variation in the saugages and the bread. Getting lazier to get up for breakfast as time passed, but we still need to fill our stomach up.

Checkered shirts for us !

Nice scenery at the port to Venice.
We thought this would be the ship that we would be travelling on to Venice......

Well, sometimes reality is harsh ....
This is the boat that we would be taking. =(

The Captain of the boat with our tour guide ....

And we were off cruising on the boat towards Venice ....
Beautiful scenery along the way....

 San Giorgio Maggiore

The setting, architecture and artwork in Venice was simply beautiful.
Even the lamp post here looks pretty!

lots of birds were seen here!

The Bridge of Sighs @ the background, where the the bridge offered condemned prisoners a last glimpse of the world

the pigeons were so fluffy and cute !

Saint Mark's Basilica at the background

We were given a quick introduction to the St Mark's Square by the local guide

A Winged Lion, a symbol of San Marco and Theodore

the fat pigeon looked so cute !!! =p

Next, we would be embarking a tour inside Saint Mark's Basilica and also the glass-making factory. To be continued..... =)
