Day 5: Venice (Part 2)

Once again, we were back to St Mark's Basilica.
We had the chance to embark on the tour of St's Mark's Basilica.

Opps, no photography ????
hmmm ....... =X

Back to the St Mark's Square after the tour of Basilica.

The waterways in Venice.
The water is so clean and clear!

The mode of transport in Venice, the Water Taxis

Embarking on another tour, this time, a shop which sells the works of the Glass Masters.

The Island of Venice looks juz like a shape of a fish!

A demonstration of the glass making process by one of the master.

The gals and the beautiful backdrop of the waterway

We were free to roam around for the next 2.5 hrs

St Mark's Campanile, the bell tower of St Mark's Basilica. The tower is around 99m and it stands alone in a corner of the St Mark's Square, near the front of the Basilica.

Gal wanted a shot with the sea gull.....
but she was afraid to go up close to them! =p

Found a corner of Venice, where one can try the wooden gondolas ride. We did not tried the gondola ride, as the trip was around 30 mins, and they were not in their traditional costumes. They were not like how we pictured them to be, and there was no singing too. =p

It was actually quite commercialised and not as romantic as what we see on movies.

Spotted Hard Rock Cafe too!

Some of the local stuffs that tourists can buy for souvenirs

Up close with the bird! =)

Simply love this shot!
St Mark Square with the Basilica and Campanile

One of the Cafe that our tour guide recommended to us, but we had no time to try.
Looked like a nice outlet as it was packed with people.

The gals attempting jump shots in the middle of St Mark's Square. Guess we were one of the rare few to do jump shots here as we were attracting attentions from passer-by. But who cares! =p

First attempt was quite successful though, if not for the scarfs around the neck blocking the 2 gals

The gals tried for a few more times before another successful, timed jump!

Guessed they were addicted to the jumps!?!?

We had our jump shots too!
And in a single attempt too! =p

Tired and warm after all the jumps! =p

Sea gulls were all over the places!

We managed to find shop that sells Gelato Ice-cream here too in Venice!

Just got to have our daily dose of Gelatos!
Up next, our lunch in an Italian restaurant with nice pasta!!!
