Day 6: Milan (Part 2)

And here we were walking towards Teatro alla Scala. Forgot what is this street name, but it had lots of country flags on both sides of the road. I did not spot Singapore flag though.

a street busker with his violin

another talent guy .....
he was able to turn radish and carrots into beautiful flowers!

I love the street lamps here!
they were so cool!

Pinocchio and us ?

Spotted UBS bank here.
To think I actually spurred an opportunity to join them after my graduation.
Haiz ....... What was I thinking .....

An Electric Tram !!!

Here we were, Teatro alla Scala, one of the world's most famous opera house in the world.
And sadly, we did not manage to get it to have a look at the theatre.

The statue of Leonardo da Vicnic and me!

Finally arrived at the place that gal was waiting for, a shopping paradise, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

The first Prada shop in Italy.
On hearing this, you just gotta get something from here don't you? =p

Suddenly, I spotted this cute, lovely gal !!!!
Can't help taking a few shots!

wahaha, she even posed for me!
You are just so adorable!!!

Time to say goodbye to the little gal and her parents!

As told by our local guide, this is call a Ritual of Luck. By placing your right heel on the bull's genitals and turn on yourself three times, it will bring you luck!

The lady in pink was our local guide for the day.
She was giving us some history about the Milan Cathedral.

Christmas arrived early in Milan ?

The carvings and the structures of the Milan Cathedral is magnificent!

It seems like some ceremony was going on today. There were flag bearers and marching, and  people gathering around, or rather guys were seen wearing a special hat with a feather on the side.

After the short guided tour, we were free to explore the area for the next few hrs.
It's shopping time!

Most of the shops there were branded shops. Gal had a Prada bag in mind that she wanna get and she eventually bought in here. It was a cost savings of a few hundreds dollars!

Random shot!

After shopping for almost 2 hrs, we met up again with Carol and her mum to have lunch together!

And finally we had some nice pasta, other than the Squid Ink pasta that we had in Venice.

Gal's Salmon pasta was one of the signature pasta of the restaurant.
Yummy !!!!

Carol and Gal ....

Carol's mum and me.
It was good to have nice people like them in this tour.
At least we have company and hang out together! =)

Carol and her mum having the last Gelato before lefting Italy ......
Us and our Last Gelato as well and mine seems much bigger then gal's! =p
We were going to cross over to Switzerland after this!
Hoping to experience some snow in Switzerland!
