Day 2: Spanish Steps (Part 4)

And here we continued to our last destination of the day, the Spanish Steps. We were walking back to our coach from St Peter's Square.

Mini cars are a favorite among the Italians

It was a short ride from St Peter's Square and here we were at the Spanish Steps. There are a total of 138 steps to the top, and this is a popular place for the locals and tourist. We had some free time to explore the area and grabbed something for our dinner.

Beautiful building, and that's a Prada shop !

Our tour guide recommended us this nice cafe, Antico Cafe

There was a wide varieties of pastries and sandwiches!
It was hard to make a decision!

We were fortunate to find an empty table after waiting for some time.

We ordered 2 coffees, a yummy Pistachio cake and a sandwich

Definitely a place to drop by if you are near the area!
Highly recommended!!!
If only there's a cafe in SG like this ......

Gal can't bear to leave this place! =p

Night view along the streets

Climbing up these138 steps to the top, which is our meeting place

View of Piazza di Spagna from the top of the stairs

And we ended our day at our first hotel, Hotel Artis.
A cosy and nice room for us!
We can finally rest our tiring feet.

As the most of the hotels in Europe do not provide kettles, we head back out to the supermarket juz beside our hotel to grab some mineral waters for the next day, and some snacks to munch in our room! FYI, the wines here cost more than the mineral water!!! A bottle of mineral water here easily cost 2 Euros!!!!!

We were excited to start the next day to Florence and Pisa !!!!
