Saboten Feast !

Still remember the first time I had Saboten was lunch time @ Changi Airport with my colleagues for a mini celebration for my birthday. I was hooked since then, but this was only my second visit to Saboten. It is one of the best Tonkatsu i have came across, and way better than Tonkichi.

Saboten was having a limited time cheese katsu selection for the month of September to October. The gals went for the Cheese Tenderloin Katsu Supreme. This set had a mixture of Ebi and the Tenderloin Katsu. The melted cheese added a little twist to the usual Katsu. Yummy !

Counting down ......

It's 15th Oct 2011 ! And it was slightly more than a month to our wedding. Did some cleaning of the whole house while awaiting the delivery of the sofa, installation of the curtains, the racks in our bomb shelter, and also the TV in our master room!

But doubt we will really use it.....

After a long wait, our sofa finally made its appearance !! Did a thorough check to ensure that it is a brand new one, and not the previous one delivered to us ( after killing all the ants). No sign of red ants! Now all we need to do is to find some cushions for our empty sofa. Looking for a nice big canvas painting on the wall behind the sofa too. Any non-atas yet nice canvas painting lobang???

Received a call when both of us were out for a dinner. My mum told me that our unit came out in the 4D draw ! Seems like a lucky unit? This is actually my first time striking 4D. Both my parents and gal's parents bought our unit number! It was a lucky and happy day for all of us!

Some extra money for our deco perhaps! =)

Off to Ikea !

Off to Ikea to shop for stuffs for our new house. We had our dinner there too, and seems like there was some sale going on. All the dishes above for less than $25! =p~~

Decorating our house seems like playing the game, Pet Society. Only difference, it is much harder to earn money and buy the nice stuffs that we want for our house.

Ros's Last Day

Feeling emo and bluez as today was Ros's last day @ Citi. We joined Citi ard the same time and spend almost 4 yrs together! My best colleague @ work, or rather, we are more than juz colleagues! There will be no one to complain to, and no one to gossip with liao. =(

More Deliveries !

It was another busy day for us!. It was Children's Day but we spent almost half the day at our new house, cleaning up while waiting for the delivery of our sofa, dinning table and installation of TVs and Bed. And also some rectification works carried out by the ID.

The TV in the living room was finally up and wall mounted! Some entertainment for us to keep us occupied. Love the sleek design of the Sony TV!

However, the TV in the master room can only be installed next week. The Samsung people apparently did not take down the appointment time and date earlier on. Re-scheduled it on the next Sat.

We were very excited about the arrival of our sofa set and the dinning table from OM Furniture, which we got from or renovation package. With the sofa and dining table, it would make our living room looking complete (minus the carpet and coffee table). But we got a shock soon after the delivery guys left.

I noticed there were red ants crawling around the living room suddenly. There were no ants at all when i was cleaning the living room. Traced the trail of the ants and it actually came from the sofa!!!! We got a shock of our life when we lifted the cushion of the sofa seats. There were alot of ants crawling around!! Our sofa set turned out to be an ant nest!!! Damn disgusting!!!!

Tried killing some of the ants and quickly called the delivery guys to collect back the sofa. No way are we going to accept a sofa that was filled with ants !
