Day 5: Venice (Part 3)

We went to one of the pasta restaurant that our tour guide recommended us. We were told the Squid Ink Pasta was quite delicious.

The tasty Squid Ink Pasta, with crab meat as well. Simply delicious and it was easily the best pasta that we had in Italy so far.

We ordered a Seafood Soup to share too.
The Prawn was so gigantic but very fresh! So were the mussels, and other seafood.

Continued our exploration around the island when we spotted what looked like a grand gondola. It was nicely decorated and i think it can only fit a couple.

Spotted a pasteries shop which sells lovely chocolates and cakes!

Gal always has a soft spot for pasteries!

Various shapes and color of pastas were available here !

The pizzas and other food looked yummy !!!

Our lonely tour guide, waiting for everyone to be back

Masks on !

It was time for us to leave Venice .....

Boarded the boat and bidding farewell to Venice. This time round, the boat was much better than the one we took in the morning.

Back on the coach and off to our dinner location.
And he was our bus captain for our euro trip.

We were back to the hotel pretty early today. Dinner was at another Chinese Restaurant. Though better than the previous one, it was worse than any zi char that I had back in SG. At the least the hotel stay was comforting, Holiday Inn, and there's free wifi !

We will be travelling to Milan before crossing over to Switzerland in the evening!
