BKK Trip Day 4 Part 2

After the River Chao Phraya tour, we rested for a while in our hotel before making our way to A&W for a quick lunch ...... Missing the Rootbeer float and the curly fries ! but the food here doesn't seem to taste as nice compared to the ones in Malaysia.... But a cup of Rootbeer still makes my day !

After our lunch, head back to the shopping malls near our hotel to see if we have miss out anything.

Taking a break from our shopping @ one of the Black Canyon Coffee outlet. Nice coffee at cheap price. Taste juz as good as those from Starbucks or Coffee Beans. Sweet Strawberry ice-blended for my gal and Black Canoyon Coffee Special for me.

Gal wanted to try the signature afternoon tea set from this nice cozy place call Agalico. It is located in Sukhumvit Soi 51. Not Hard to miss. Sadly, all the pastries were sold out. No scones and pastries for my gal. Sadz for her.

This place only opens on weekends, hence we are unable to try it again. It is own my a Thai architect, and the cafe is a white English-style living room, accented with birdcages, rattan chairs and comfy canvas couches. Promise gal that i will bring her to this place again if we were to come to BKK again. On weekdays, this place will be rented our for events and not open to public.

They have a wide selections of teas available in colorful tea tins !

sadz gal ..... Cheer up, we'll be back !!!

Our drinks !

They have a beautiful backyard. The whole area have a very English countryside feel. And we spotted squirrels again !!! Seems like we have affinity with squirrels !!!

This looks like an ideal and romantic place for solemnization ceremonies

Our choice of restaurant for the day, Khinlom Chomsaphan, located at Samsan Soi 3, Samsan Road. It has an excellent view of the reverine and Ramah VIII Bridge !

a favorite restaurant among the locals and tourists

The surrounding scenery is simply beautiful, especially during sunset

This tree looks unique and artistic ! =p

Trying to entertain ourselves while waiting for the food to come
hungry !!

another nice, spicy tom yam kung !!

Fried Grouper with sweet and spicy thai sauce ! The fish is not over-fry, and the meat is still tender and juicy inside.

Muack Muack !!

Soft shell crabbies !!!!!

Pineapple Rice with fried prawny ! One of the best pineapple rice we had so far !

Beautiful background with Ramah VII bridge behind us !!

never forget to order my gal's favourite scallops ! Super duper yummy and huge !!!
Look at the satisfying smile on gal's face =)

The restaurant has live band performing english songs. Get to enjoy nice food, nice scenery and nice music too.... Definitely a good place to have a slow dinner, and a date !!! (^_-)

Last shot of the bridge before leaving the restaurant. Head to Chinatown next to explore the area. Chinatown is known for its chinese delicacies, especially shark fins and birds' nests.

Nam Sing is one of the recommended place on forum and here we are to try its shark fin and bird nest. Order a claypot of shark fin and a grade 2 bird nest, total ard 1000 baht ! The servings are quite generous and worth every bit of the money.

Thick, smooth bird nest ! My gal loves it....

Our big claypot of sharkfin ! Where will we find such a big slice of shark fin in SG restaurant? Or rather how much will we have to pay.

was a bit shock with the garnishing they gave us for our shark fin =p

Good to pamper ourselves at times !!! =p~

After our mini-supper at Chinatown, explored the area and found out there's nothing much here. Hence we took a cab and rush down to Suan Lum Night Bazar. Suan Lum is a nice place to shop. The clothings here are quite unique, and mostly are desiged by the local fashion designers. Quality wise is also much better than places like Platinum Mall and Chatuchak.

Gal like quite a number of nice shoes and bags. Sadly, most of the shoes she like doesn't have her size. But she still manage to buy something. It would be great if we were to come here earlier where all the shops are still open, more things for us to shop ! There are alot of eateries available as well. Not a bad place for people to come and spend their night here.

Decided to stay in our hotel room to watch the World Cup Final as we had a long day. And my fav team, Spain won after a hard fought match ! Last nite at our hotel..... 4 days just flashed past us... kinda of sad....
