a lazy saturday .......

Off to Haji lane for some shop with gal but once again, not able to capture anything at all. Haji lane is suppose to be a gd place for photo-taking for its colorful yet old shophouses.

Off to Illuma for KOI !!! Queued for some 25 mins before getting our drinks. Wish to try something new, thus order different this time round, Ice-cream Milk tea with mini pearls ! Taste juz as gd as my fav Grass Jelly Milk tea !!!

The Ice-cream Milk Tea is not what i imagine it to be. Instead of a scoop of ice-cream in a cup of milk tea, the ice-cream was compressed at the bottom. There is also some sweet brown syrup on top of the ice-cream, probably caramel syrup? And the ice-cream blends well with the milk tea, quite sweet !

Definitely a nice drink to get on a hot day, and the ice-cream doesn't melt that fast !

After quenching our thrist, we made our way to a eatery behind Orchard Plaza. Ordered Beef Hor Fun and Tom Yum Bee Hoon. My Beef Hor Fun was quite tasty and the beef were quite tender. Gal's Tom Yum Bee Hoon soup was a bit diluted, and at $8, definitely not quite worth it. It even cost more than a nice Tom Yum Goong in BKK.

But like what gal said, cannot compare lah, everything in SG is expensive......
