Dim Sum for Breakfast!

Woke up very early for a breakfast date with my in-laws.
I still looked like a sleepy head. =p

Gal wanted a shot of her OOTD.

Red Star, also known as 红星酒家 is quite well known among the older generation of the Singapore locals. It is located on the outskirt of Chinatown, on 7th storey of the HDB Carpark! I did not know how popular it was until we have reached the restaurant. A long queue was spotted, even at 10.30am on a Sunday morning!

There were lots of newspaper articles and awards about its dim sum, and we were hoping that the dim sum will be really good.

It has a nostalgic atmosphere of being in a yum cha house of the 60s, with the dim sum being served on trolleys.

Overall, the dim sum was pretty average. It was not worth the wait and the prices are not exactly much cheaper than the better dim sum restaurants like Royal China or Taste Paradise.
