Met gal for dinner at Bugis after work on a friday. We were deciding between Porn's and Lenas for our dinner. Since we were both quite lazy to walk to Liang Sia Street and the expected long queue at Porn's, we chose Lenas in the end. Well, we regretted making this decision.
Lenas offers a daily buffet from 2pm-6pm at an attractive price. Its Hoegaarden seems to be a favourite among the dinners. Many of them order the huge glass of Hoegaarden. It comes in different flavours too, like the grape flavor shown above. And you can even add your favorite ice-cream to it ! An Hoegaarden float?
The highly recommended Smoked Duck Salad. The meat was soft and tender, and the sweet salad dressing blends well with it.
The buffalo wings look delicious on the menu. We were quite disappointed after tasting it. It was over-fried, and the skin was hard. Nothing special about the wings.... It was rather bland.
We had a hard time choosing between pasta or pizza for our mains. Tried looking around and see what do most people order. Settled for a large pizza with 2 different flavors in the end. One of them is Smoke Salmon Pizza, and the other.... i forget the name... Both of us preferred the smoked salmon
We would wanna try their pasta if we ever come back again as they look delicious !
