Dad's Birthday Dinner

We were at Plaza Sing walking around, decided to try Eskimo, a bubble tea outlet that is suppose to be quite nice. . The menu looks pretty same to KOI but i decided to go with the safe drinks, Milk Tea with mini pearls.

After placing our orders, we were made to wait for around 30 mins for our drinks despite being third in the queue. Quite disappointed with the milk tea. Its standard is definitely no where near KOI, and the mini pearls are not nice too. My gal being brave, go for 0% sugar level, and it puts her off too. Don't think we will ever return, especially with the long waiting time. Definitely not worth waiting waiting for 30 mins.

After some shopping, head to Vienna @ United Square. Dad choose the venue himself for his birthday celebration as he quite like the food there. To my surprise, Vienna is quite popular. Tried booking a week ago but the inside seatings were already fully booked.

Most of the seafood / Sashimi were not fresh, quite turned off. One of the rare occasions that i actually didn't want to take so much photos of the food and the buffet counters. The photos of the food can look deceiving.

The salmon slices were thick and not fresh at all. Same goes to the crabs. Tasteless, and the dark area taste bitter. I was expecting something better for its popularity.

The scallop is one of the few dishes that taste not bad. Maybe because i'm a cheese lover, and anything with melted cheese won't go wrong, i guess. The Unagi was quite dry and it has alot of bones. It feels very poky down the throat.

Thankfully, the oysters are quite fresh and the color is beautiful ..... But it lacks the "hai yang de wei dao"
