and we begun our outdoor experience.....
it was damn cold and windy, it actually hurts with the snow hitting against ya face.
Carol and gal could hardly walk and gotta hold tightly onto the flag pole till the wind subside. Look at the speed of the falling snow that's blowing against us!
Gal and I were struggling to struggling to strike a pose with the strong wind. We had to rush back to the indoors as we begin to tear and fluid started to flow out of our nose as well. Unglam!
Well, accident happen while we were resting inside. I had my camera hung over my neck all the time. For some unknown reason, i decided to leave my camera on small table by the edge instead of my camera bag.
I just turned my head to talk to my gal,and the next thing i heard was a loud bang! It took me a few seconds to realise that my camera actually dropped 2 storey down. Fortunately, it did not hurt anyone. Not sure how the camera manage dropped through a small gap between the glass and the table.
The filter was badly dented and the glass was shattered. Heart ache for me. We still have not covered Paris! Too sad to take any photos along the way back to our hotel.
After we arrived back at Interlaken, we went around in search of a camera shop. The nice and friendly staff help me to clear the shattered glass pieces. She also tried means to remove the filter len but it was impossible.
Surprisingly, and thankfully, the camera seems to survive the fall. Initially, I had to urge to juz buy a new lens to replace the existing one as we have yet to travel to Paris. The same 18-135mm lens cost around $900 in Switzerland!
Luckily, seems like I am still able to continue to take photos in the current damaged state. Need to start to save up to buy a new camera, sadz!

As dinner was not provided, we settled for a Korean restaurant.
It was kinda weird to have Korean food in Switzerland, but anyway, we went for it!

The Bibimbap and the Ginseng Chicken were unexpectedly delicious!
Easily beat any of the Korea restaurant back in SG.

After the meal, we took a stroll around the town and happen to pass by this casino. Heard from the other tour members that there were nothing much in the casino.
Head back to the hotel after refilling our supply of mineral water and fruits. It was our last night in Interlaken. We will be heading to Zermatt tomorrow.
