Our initial destination was a trip to Kukup together with my Poly friends. As there were insufficient people for the trip, it was changed to Bintan instead.
For most of us, this was our first trip to Bintan.
The hotel rooms that we have booked were not ready yet hence, we were given a choice of a Villa instead. After viewing the Villa, we decided to stick to our hotel rooms.
There were 9 of us, but the Villa only has 2 toilets. And also, though it has a private pool, it does not seems to be as cosy as the hotel rooms.

Back at the hotel reception, we were told that our rooms would only be ready in 2hrs time. To pass time, we headed to Pasar Oleh Oleh for our lunch and little "shopping".
All of us have the same thought initially, would 2 hrs be enough for us to spend our time at Pasar Oleh Oleh? Well, upon stepping foot on the place, we all concluded that 2hrs would be more than sufficient.
This is the only decent eating place, Cafe Helo Helo. It's something like the Zi Char place back in SG. And in Bintan, they actually use SGD, hence things are not cheap either.

We ordered a set meal for 10 Pax. Food was pretty normal, and the price was considered reasonable, as we had a big crab.
After our hearty lunch, went around to explore Pasar Oleh Oleh. And it only took us 15 mins to cover the entire place. Boring place !

Half a day has passed, and we finally got our rooms! A little rest and exploration on our own before all of us meet up again for dinner in the evening.

After dinner, we were supposed to embark on a night tour in the swamp. There was a mixed-up between the agency and the local company, and the tour was called off. We have booked a tour for 9 person, but the local guide told us the confirmation he received was for 3 person instead of 9 !
Luckily we have planned some games and we retreated back to our rooms.

And so the game begun! Shubin taught us a new, fun game, with scribbling of faces and drinking of beers/liquor as punishment!
The game master drew first blood, getting the opportunity to draw Tze Liang's face. But what goes around, comes around ! She kena karma and got punished as well!

The biggest losers for the night were Helena, Tze Liang, my gal and I. The game was played in Shubin's room, and the 4 of us had to walk back to our rooms, which was at the end of the other wing ! Boo !
